An old alchemist maxim translated as:
Read, read, read, work, take, and reread.

Ora is actually translated as pray. So the translation would read, "read, read, read, work, pray, and re-read."

I think the translation you gave captured the essence of the motto, but I find that it's always nice to be as precise as possible in translation.
